A car capable of winning the WRC, but for driving every day? Sounds too good to be true, right!

Enter, the all-new GR Yaris Rallye.

From Toyota’s Gazoo Racing brand – which has revitalised Toyota’s passion for exhilarating performance and racing without compromising on world-class safety – this highly anticipated track-ready sports car makes its Australian debut next month.

With just 200 Rallyes released in Australia, Torque has only been able to snap one up for one lucky guest to drive away – but we’re inviting all of Brisbane to come and experience it in all its glory at our TORQUE TOYOTA GR CAR SHOW in Albion on May 15.

Attending guests will be amongst the first in the country to get up-close with the brand-new Rallye, plus have the opportunity to check out the latest in the world of GR Supra with QLD’s Supra Club’s Show and Shine, and even get behind the wheel with a GR race car simulator experience.

Of the event, Torque Toyota General Sales Manager Sean Lim said: “When something this exciting comes to Brisbane, it’s only natural we want to make noise about it!

“Hot off the production floor and racing to us here in Albion, the GR Yaris Rallye is designed for drivers who want to experience a higher level of performance. We can’t wait to welcome guests to our GR Car Show so they can have a sneak peek at this motorsport masterpiece.

“Through our ongoing relationship with the QLD Supra Club, we’re also excited to showcase the best in GR Supra and give our guests the chance to learn more about the world of Gazoo Racing.

“And whilst this first Rallye release is limited, we can take pre-orders on the day which will be delivered if there’s significant demand,” adds Sean Lim.

With drivers at the heart of the creation of every Toyota vehicle, the Rallye was no different.

Through its development, Toyota took on feedback from its WRC drivers to ensure the outcome was about as close as you can get to the Yaris World Rally Car. The result is next-level GR high-performance suspension, forged alloy wheels and Torsen Limited Slip Differentials.

Building on the proven credentials of the 200kW GR Yaris three-door hatch, the new Rallye edition is hand-pressed, built by a dedicated engineering team, and has 100 welding points for structural stability and exhilarating performance. Learn more about the Rallye features here.
